Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms with bath and/or showers.
Thirteen channel television. You may bring your own DVD player for your children's entertainment if the chosen flat does not supply one.

Safe parking area and walk ways (CCTV cameras) to all four exits/entrances. Reservation office on ground floor opposite communal coin-operated Laundromat. Basic daily service Monday to Friday (excludes bed making and dishes). Beds and dishes optional extra to be booked in advance and payable at office at R25 per day on weekdays and R40 on a Saturday. No basic service on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays.
Fresh bed linen every seven days. Bring own beach towels and dishcloths.
Bath towels are provided once a week. Communal braai area on third floor.

Information booklet in each apartment regarding local places of interest and tourist venues. Comprehensive phone list of all major hospitals, shops, cinemas, restaurants, etc.

Please take note that flats are furnished to owners' taste.

Walk to Margate Games Arcade, Municipal Swimming Pool, Fun Fair, Superslide (in season). Take your chair down to the Music Festivals or simply enjoy it from your lounge. Support the informal traders who sell their wares on the side walks. Large well stocked supermarket, all major banks, post office, bottle store on your doorstep. Walk to a wide selection of restaurants and night clubs. Two large shopping malls about 6 kms away.

Short drive to various well-known golf courses and bowling greens. Scenic flights, helicopter rides and skydiving on offer from Margate Airport (4 km). Whale watching, surfing, fishing and diving activities from Shelly Beach harbour (6 km).

In season R100pp out of season R50pp per night. NO Parking provided in season,
but out of season it can be arranged according to availability.

Rules and Regulations:
No refunds for late arrival or early departure.
Hand towels and bath towels are NOT for use on the beach.
Consideration for others’ comfort especially after 10.pm.
NO PETS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME.
A NON REFUNDABLE ADMIN FEE OF R350 FOR FIRST WEEK THEN R50 PER WEEK THEREAFTER (OUT OF SEASON) AND R450 PLUS SAME CONDITIONS FOR PEAK SEASON.

All weekend bookings must be fully paid in advance.
Children of all ages welcome, but care must be taken to accompany them on the lifts and especially to the beach and amusement parks. We also have a Games Room on the ground floor where we have table tennis and pool for over 12 year olds and playschool things for small children. There is a flat screen TV and DVD with children’s dvd’s which are played on request. Small children MUST BE SUPERVISED in the playroom.
Camp cot available by prior arrangement at nominal fee (according to availability).

Cancellation Policy:
For an in season booking, a cancellation will only be accepted one full calendar month prior to arrival, otherwise deposit will be forfeited and you will be responsible for full payment of account due. Potential forfeited deposit cannot be transferred to another time, unless a suitable candidate has been found for the full cancelled period.

How to get to us:
Seven hours drive by car from Johannesburg. For the elderly or the business man, fly to King Shaka Airport and book with the Margate Mini Coach or Southern Shuttle. Liner buses from Johannesburg also stop in Margate at Maroela Flats.
